The birdwatching and landscape platform is built on top of a bunker building. The platform offers a beautiful view of the sea and the adjacent nature reserve, where movement is prohibited from 1 April to 15 August. You can sit on the benches at the edge of the platform and eat lunch. The birdwatching platform is reached by stairs, and the platform is not accessible. Inside the bunker building there is the Onnellisten saari photo exhibition. The photo exhibition tells the story of the time when Harakka island was closed to the public and acted as the Finnish Defence Forces' chemical research institute and the maritime workplace of those who worked there. The photos tell about the tight-knit work community of the closed island and the everyday life and celebrations that took place there.
