About this event

Mondays at 16:00–17:30 at Kivenlahti youth centre (Season 7.9.–14.12.2026, no club during autumn holiday weeks 42) The art workshop club invites 9–12-year-old children to explore their own creativity through experimenting, playing, and imagination. In the club, children will get acquainted with diverse, easy ways of making art: by crafting, painting, sculpting, and boldly combining various materials – including recycled and natural materials. Inspiration is sought, for example, from nature, science, and children's own ideas. The club has no skill level or experience requirements, and all kinds of artists are welcome. During the first session, we will plan the season's programme together with the children, so that the activities are as much as possible tailored to the club members' preferences and support their wishes. Welcome to create art, experiment, and spend pleasant moments together!
