Children's animation and comic course

About this event

The Comics Centre's children's animation and comic strip course goes through the basics of comics and animation step by step. Participants will become familiar with the entire comic-making process from ideation, scriptwriting, sketching, and drawing the final comic. During the course, various animation techniques and storytelling, as well as sound design, will be practised. The course also involves brainstorming worlds, developing characters for them, and designing environments. The course is aimed at 7–12-year-olds. The participation fee includes materials, but participants are also welcome to bring their own tools or equipment.
