About this event

Tuesdays at 18:00–19:30 at Haukilahti Multipurpose House (Season 8.9.–15.12.2026, no club during autumn holiday week 42) In Kamu's Science Club, children get to explore, experiment, and learn together. The club does not require previous knowledge, so every child can participate from their own starting point. The club introduces science by conducting simple physics and chemistry experiments, science tricks, and crafts. The aim of the club is to strengthen children's courage to try new things, ask questions, and wonder about the surrounding world. In the club, children experience success, trying, and learning that not all questions need to be answered immediately. The important thing is exploring, experimenting, and learning together. Club members learn the basics of physics and chemistry, get acquainted with basic information related to space and science, and practice conducting simple science experiments safely. At the same time, they practice cooperation, turn-taking, considering others, and following common instructions. The club encourages children to explore, ask, and experiment outside the club as well.
