Art for Toddlers – Open art workshop for children aged 1.5–3, and their adults (FI/ENG)

Caisa's Art for Toddlers workshops on Tuesdays and Thursdays introduce children to the world of visual arts through painting, colours and sculpting. Tuesdays, 1 September–22 December, 13:30–15:30 . Thursdays, 3 September–17 December, 10:00–12:00 . There will be no workshops on Tuesday, 13 October, and Thursday, 15 October, during the autumn holiday week. The workshops inspire and guide adults and children to make and experience art together. Together with their adult, children may get to know different art materials and techniques, which are placed in different points of the studio space. The space always has easels and the opportunity to sculpt. Children can work at their own pace and get to know the crafting points that change weekly. The workshops aim to give children the opportunity to try their own art-making and develop social skills with other children. The attachment of child and adult is strengthened in a playful and creative environment. The workshop is led by art educator Eungyung Kim. Languages of instruction: Finnish and English. Participation: The workshop is free of charge. You can participate in the workshop whenever it suits you: each time, or just sometimes. Choose a time that suits you and please arrive on time.
