About this event
Would you like to practise reading aloud? A reading dog is a patient listener, with whom reading does not need to be stressful. Reading with a reading dog develops reading skills! In autumn 2026, at Kallio library, you can read aloud to reading dog Ebba every other Tuesday between 14:00–15:15. The reading sessions are held in the library's group room Kontio (1st floor). You can reserve your own 15-minute reading slot at http://bit.ly/kallionlukukoira. NOTE! If you cannot make it, please inform us by phone 09 310 85053 or email kallionkirjasto.lapsetjanuoret@hel.fi! The reading dog's handler is present during the reading session but does not interfere with its progress. You can read a book you have brought with you or choose one from the library's collection.
