Event description Dance performance Ding Dong! is a dance performance that invites you to explore sounds – how they transform into movement and music. Two soundscape creators, Ding and Dong, guide the audience to the world of rhythms, sounds, and silence. Why does one sound make you laugh and another make you nervous? Where does a sound disappear when you no longer hear it? How can a small ding – or a big dong – start a dance? Sometimes sounds escape – and then they are searched for together. Clapping, stomping, and vocalising create a living soundscape where every sound is important. Ding Dong! is a multi-sensory performance where even the smallest sound can grow into a great experience. Duration: 30 min. Language: Finnish / non-verbal. You can easily participate even if you don't speak Finnish. Suitable for families of different linguistic backgrounds. Age recommendation: 0 months–2 years. Note! Reserve a ticket ONLY for a Culture Kid. If you have more than one Culture Kid in your family, reserve a separate ticket for each Culture Kid. 1–2 adults can accompany the child to this event. Older siblings can participate in this event. Grandparents are especially invited to this event. Note! If you have not yet registered your child for the Vantaa Culture Kids programme, please register here first.
