Event description Dance performance Ding Dong! is a dance performance that invites exploration of sounds – how they transform into movement and music. Two builders of soundscapes, Ding and Dong, lead the audience to rhythms, sounds and silence. Why does one sound make you laugh and another make you nervous? Where does a sound disappear when you no longer hear it? How can a small ding – or a big dong – start a dance? Sometimes sounds escape – and then they are searched for together. Clapping, stomping and vocalising create a living soundscape where every sound is important. Ding Dong! is a sensory experience where even a small sound can grow into a big sensation. Duration: 30 min. Language: Finnish / non-verbal. You can easily participate even if you don't speak Finnish. Suitable for multilingual families. Age recommendation: 0 months–2 years. Note! Book a ticket ONLY for a Kulttuurilapsi (Culture Child). If your family has more than one Kulttuurilapsi, book a separate ticket for each Kulttuurilapsi. 1–2 adults can accompany a child to this event. Older siblings can participate in this event.
