About this place
Hamnholmen has an information board, a campfire site, a woodshed, and an outdoor privy. Acquisition year: 1990 Nautical chart series A 618 The Lillfjärden area consists of the island of Fallholmen, Hästön Hamnholmen, and a separate plot on Hästö. Bisaholmsklacken, a rocky islet west of Fallholmen, is protected under the Nature Conservation Act due to an osprey's alternate nest located on the island. The Lillfjärden bay is best accessed via the strait on the east side of Fallholmen, where one can navigate by the leading line marker located at the western tip of Lötholmen. Beware of rocks in the strait! Lillfjärden bay can also be accessed via the strait west of Granholmen. The nearest commercial harbour is in Kabböle archipelago centre, on the mainland north of the island group (approx. 7 nautical miles = approx. 12 km). Kabböle has a shop and a boat service station. Boats and canoes can be launched from the shore, and day berths are available for rent for cars. Up-to-date information on services: www.kabbolemarina.fi. The shores of Hästö and Lötholmen are quite densely built. To ensure the peace of cabin residents and islanders, it is advisable for outdoor enthusiasts to stay within the association's areas when moving on land. At the northeast end of Lilla Hamnholmen is the old fishing ground of the area's professional fishermen, to which they still have rights. Otherwise, the use of passive fishing gear is not permitted in the association's areas at all.
