Pörönmäen näköalatorni

Pörönmäki observation tower was rebuilt in spring 2010. The tower is constructed from treated timber poles and its height is 17 metres. The Kajan brothers, Heimo and Valto, initiated the tower project. Previously, a slightly lower observation tower stood on the same spot, built in 1928. It was demolished in the mid-1940s due to its poor condition, with its wooden parts having rotted.
