About this place
The coastline on the western side of the island is variably rocky. Landing is best done at the pier on the eastern side of the island or on the sandy beach. The limestone rocks on the western side host a unique moss and lichen flora, which is sensitive to wear. Please move carefully on the rocks. Next to the pier, there is an open fire pit. Currently, there is no firewood service on the island, so visitors must bring their own firewood. The island's buildings are currently out of use. The area is currently being developed as part of the Yhteinen Ollisaari project (2023-2025), and in the coming years, the island will serve different user groups even better and more diversely. The island's pier, fire pits, and dry toilets will be renovated in the near future.
