Luontopolku Rummelö-Harrbåda

Along the nature trail are two birdwatching towers at Harrbådan and Rummelö, as well as a birdwatching platform. Villa Elba's birdwatching tower is also suitable for people with reduced mobility. The Rummelö-Harrbådan wetland area and nature trail are located on the shore of Kaustarinlahti, only a couple of kilometres from the centre of Kokkola. The wetland area covers 236 ha. The site is part of the Natura 2000 network. The bird nesting season from 15.4. to 31.7. must be taken into account when hiking, and movement in the area is only permitted on marked trails. Grazing takes place in the area in summer.
