Harjulanrinne

To the west of KYS, in the area between Niuvantie and Retkeilijäntie, lies the Harjulanrinne forest area, which is predominantly pine, rocky in terrain, and gets evening sun. A pedestrian and cycle path runs across the southern part of the area, from the Harjula hospital to Retkeilijäntie. In addition, several small forest paths crisscross the area. Near the bus stop at Harjula hospital, there is also a part of the natural monument, Ukko Loden pine, which has already been felled. There are no services in the area. The area is easily accessible on foot from the residential area of Retkeilijäntie and from Niuvantie. The nearest bus stops are located along Niuvantie, right at the edge of the forest.
