Salonsaaren nuotiopaikka

Campfire site. Hiking in Salonsaari is litter-free, as there are no waste bins in the area. Firewood is not provided, so you must bring your own. The island serves as an important nesting and feeding area for birds. The island can be reached, for example, by rowing boat; a boat can be rented free of charge from the Service Corridor of Lempäälä-talo, instructions can be found on the www.lempäälä.fi website. Important note. Please note that water current can be strong at times. Do not cross the ice in winter or swim in summer. Hiking on the island is recommended only during ice-free periods by boat or canoe.
