Sveitsinpuisto

Sveitsinpuisto outdoor recreation area. The area offers diverse recreational opportunities: fitness and walking trails, a swimming pool, an ice sports centre, cross-country skiing and walking trails in winter, and Perttula's lawns for football. In addition, there is a sand field along Aleksis Kiven katu. Dog exercise areas are located on the western edge of the park. Nature and cultural trails will be built in the area during 2017. The information point for summer routes is in the courtyard of Sveitsin Maja, and the information point and starting place for skiing are in the parking area north of the ice rink. The southern part of Sveitsinpuisto is a nature reserve where cycling is only permitted on marked paths. Cycling off-path is not allowed.
