About this place

Petosenmäki is a forested hill on the western edge of the Petonen district. Petosenmäki is 151 m high and stands out clearly in the landscape. Its terrain is mainly heath forest, with pine and spruce as the dominant trees. A walking path runs across the top of Petosenmäki, starting as a gravel road in the northeastern part of the area and continuing from the top of the hill as a narrower path to the southern parts of the area. Additionally, several forest paths run on the northern and western slopes of the hill. The terrain is hilly and rocky, making it difficult to navigate in places. There are no services in the area. The area is most easily accessed from the northeastern part of the area via Hiirihaukantie or from the southern part via Petosennotko. The nearest bus stops are located along Pitkälahdentie.
