Iso-Mietin laavu

Iso-Mietti is located in the middle of Lake Kallavesi, east of the deep waterway. The island belongs to the Kuopio National Urban Park. Iso-Mietti is a rather large island with steep and rocky shores, suitable for landing but a challenging destination due to the shoals and islets in the approach channel. There is a lean-to on the eastern side of the island. Firewood is supplied at the site. Near the lean-to there is also an old fishing hut, which is not maintained.
