Häntälän notkot

Häntälän notkot are deep, winding river valleys carved into clay soil in Somero, formed by water erosion after the Ice Age. The area is a unique grazed traditional landscape in Finnish conditions, where meadows, steep slopes and diverse species form an exceptionally valuable natural site.
