Tauko-Taipale / Uittamonsalmen kota

The hiking distance is 2.5km from the intersection of Himalanpohjantie and Luhtalantie. A few signs along the way. There is no official parking space. Coordinates: 61 27.275 N, 27 22.357 E. The hut has seating for 20-25 people. The place is used as a resting stop by skiers, boaters and hikers. The Tauko-Taipale hut is freely available for everyone. The pier may be used for visiting the area, overnight stays are prohibited. Tauko-Taipale is maintained by the Taipale village association.
