Valometsä

Near the centre of Kemijärvi, on the shore of Kuumalampi, a new Valometsä (Light Forest) has opened – an experiential walking trail that brings light, colour, and warmth to the winter twilight. The trail is short and easy to navigate, making it perfect for an evening stroll or a peaceful pause amidst daily life. The light artworks of Valometsä and nature's own hues create a unique atmosphere where the polar night takes on a new meaning. Along the trail, there is also a campfire site, inviting you to sit down for a moment and enjoy the silence right in the heart of the city.
