Sammalniemi

Sammalniemi is a forested cape along the jogging path that circles the Särkiniemi district. The cape area features mixed forest consisting of deciduous trees and pines. From the tip of the cape, there is a beautiful view towards Saaristokaupunki on Kallavesi. The cape can be circled along a forest path that follows the shores. There are no services at the site. Sammalniemi can be reached on foot or by bike from nearby residential areas via the jogging path that circles the Särkiniemi district or via Sammalniementie. The nearest bus stop is 600 m away along Sammalniementie.
