Leikkipuisto Mäkitorppa / Hiekkakenttä

Sand pitch part of the Mäkitorpanpuisto renovation in 2017. Before the renovation, a small ice rink was maintained on the field, weather permitting. The building burned down in summer 2012, after which the park area was largely renewed. The Social Services Department organizes guided outdoor and indoor activities for children and young adolescents at Mäkitorppa playground. The City Environment sector is responsible for the maintenance of the park area and the safety of the play equipment.
