In the Special Forest, you can also explore some more unusual tree species and enjoy a pleasant campfire moment at the lean-to. A good destination for families with children! The Special Forest was established in the 1930s by cultivating and planting foreign tree species in the area. Visitors have access to a campfire kota, dry toilet, and woodshed. A path just under a kilometre long winds through the Special Forest, with signs introducing about twenty tree species along the way. The forest is like an oasis, also rich in birds, squirrels, and various ground cover plants and undergrowth.
