Karhonsaaren laavu

Karhonsaari has two separate nature reserves and a nature trail, known as the tree species trail, has also been built on the island. In 1875, the first steam sawmill in Northern Savo was established on the island, and a sawmill drying building, among others, remains on the island as a memorial. Equipment: Lean-to, firewood, information board, waste point, toilet. The shore near the lean-to is deep and suitable for landing. On the northern side of the island there is a guest harbour with a pier.
