About this place
The Salpapolku is a military history outdoor trail in Oravisalo. The route is easy, partly challenging. Marked in the terrain with blue colour. The route follows the Salpalinja structures built on the eastern shore of Oravisalo. The Salpalinja was a defence line built to protect Finland during World War II. The trail allows visitors to explore wartime structures and the nature of Oravisalo and Hämeenselkä shores.
