Haminalahden kulttuuripolku

Kuopio's Haminalahti cultural trail into the landscapes of the von Wright brothers. The cultural trail presents the artworks of Ferdinand, Magnus, and Wilhelm von Wright from the 19th century, the landscapes of their birthplace today, and other cultural history of Haminalahti. The cultural trail consists of a 3.1 km long circular route and a 1.2 km long spur to Mustalahti. The route runs along forest paths and village roads and is intended for hiking during the snow-free season. It is signposted with guideposts and poles featuring a capercaillie logo. The path is easy to walk, but in places there are significant elevation changes. Stairs have been built in the more difficult sections. There are busy main roads near the path, so car noise may be audible in the forest.
