Hietasalon kota

Hietasalo hut is located on the popular Hietasalo island in Kuopio National Urban Park. The hut was completed in 2022, with co-funding from the Ministry of the Environment. The hut has an area of approximately 100 m2 and is designed for 45 people. The hut and its surroundings are built to be accessible. For wheelchair users, transportation by inland waterway vessels is limited. More information is available from cruise service providers. The hut rental fee is 40 euros/2 hours. Additional hours are 15 euros/hour. The hut can be rented for a maximum of 12 hours at a time. The rent is paid after the event. It is the renter's responsibility to clean the hut after the rental period and to verify the cleanliness of the hut with internal photos after the rental period. Other users of the hut must also ensure that the hut is cleaned and rubbish is removed after use for the next users. However, the hut renter should be prepared before the event that the premises may not have been cleaned after the previous visitor.
