In the bay on the western shore of the island, there is a campfire site and a waste bin. Firewood supply is available at the site. Pyöreä-Hakku is part of Kuopio National Urban Park. The southwestern cape has deep rocky shores and is reasonably suitable for landing. However, the spot is quite exposed to, for example, southeastern winds.
