Hattelmalan lintutorni

The path to the Hattelmalanjärvi birdwatching tower starts from the Aleksis Kiven katu car park, right next to road 10. Hattelmalanjärvi and parts of its surroundings are a nature reserve. The lake is known in the area as a good bird lake. The spot is therefore an excellent hiking destination, especially in spring and autumn during bird migration. From the car park, it is only about a 300 m walk to the tower. Near the tower, on dry land, there is also pleasant woodland for picnics and play. There is no campfire site or WC in the area.
