Vartiokylänlahti and its surroundings are a good example of post-glacial natural geographical history and the cultural history of the area. In terms of nature, the bay's surroundings include exceptionally diverse areas and, with its environment, it is one of the most significant natural sites in the Helsinki region. A route of about 13 km is marked in the PDF brochure, along which a traveller can learn about the culture and nature of the bay's surroundings. The route is not marked on the terrain, nor are there any signs related to the route on the terrain.
