Area: 5 ha, 6 ha water area Acquisition year: 1992 Nautical chart series Z 619 Bockhamn natural harbour is located on Byö island, off Sarvsalö in Pernaja municipality. A marked boat channel runs in front of the island. The narrow strait leading to the inner bay has a depth of about 2.5 - 3 metres. The bay itself is slightly shallower (middle part 2-3 m) and its bottom is muddy and soft. On the western cape of the bay's mouth, there is a private villa plot with holiday buildings. Sheltered Bockhamn primarily serves as a stopover and overnight harbour for boating.
