In front of the nature centre's main building is the nature centre's campfire site, which is a large barbecue shelter containing three separate fire-making areas, surrounded by benches for approximately 40 people. Firewood for the campfire is available year-round in the woodshed behind the campfire site. The nature centre's campfire site is well-suited for self-guided excursions and offers an atmospheric place for a break and a fire. The nature centre's campfire site is centrally located and in the immediate vicinity of the car park. There is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding. The Liminganlahti Nature Centre area is a litter-free hiking destination; what you bring in, you take out.
