The exercise equipment in the Senior Park is suitable for individuals with reduced functional capacity or those who use a wheelchair. Adjacent to the park is a 500 m 'Ikiliikkuja' (Eternal Mover) route. A total of 20 pieces of equipment form an active circuit with many functional activities related to, for example, mobility, memory training, and balancing. The park does not have winter maintenance. Miina Sillanpää Foundation, in cooperation with the City of Helsinki, designed and implemented a versatile exercise and meeting place for seniors, Taavetinpuisto and the Ikiliikkuja walking route.
