Alanen

Alanen wetland is located in the village of Lappetelä, Iisalmi. The wetland is the second largest in the North Savo region (17.35 ha) and was established between 2011 and 2014. Alanen is an important bird area. The wetland is easy to find, as it is located right along Lappeteläntie road and is visible directly from the road. The site has a bird tower, a hut, and a toilet.
