Accessible duckboards lead to the viewing platform. Nature Centre services are approximately 300 metres away. The lower covered platform of Virkkula bird tower is spacious and accessible. The wooden ramp leading to the lower platform is 1200 mm wide, has an 8% gradient, and a height difference of approximately 2 metres. The ramp has two intermediate platforms, each at least 1800 mm wide. The gap between the cross-planks is 10 mm. Both sides of the ramp have railings without handrails.
