An ice rink is built in winter at the multi-purpose field, where there are tennis and basketball courts. The rinks can be put in condition for skating depending on the weather conditions, and maintenance can usually continue until the end of February. Freezing starts with the large 1st class courts. Of those maintained only on weekdays, the rink courts and school courts are handled first, and the smallest park courts last.
