Ulkoilureitti Mäntyvaara-Pohtimolampi

The outdoor recreation route is 27 km long. The route is marked in the terrain, there are 2200 m of duckboards. The fitness boxes of Mäntyvaara, Mellalampi and Sinettäjärvi are located along the route. The section between Mäntyvaara and Sinettäjärvi (9 km) is maintained in winter with a ski trail groomer. A traditional cross-country ski trail is prepared with a snowmobile on the section between Sinettäjärvi and Pohtimolampi from the end of February onwards. There are two lean-tos along the route, Pissinperä lean-to at the south end of Sinettäjärvi and Kulkkusenvaara lean-to at the north end of Sinettäjärvi. Due to the difficult terrain, the ski trail is not maintained up to Kulkkusenvaara lean-to.
