About this place
Between Keinänlahti marina and Niuva fields, there is a small wooded peninsula with several small paths. Walking around the entire peninsula takes about half an hour. Near the shore, the forest is light and pine-dominated; in the middle of the peninsula, there is spruce forest. Along the edge of the field, there is lush mixed deciduous forest. The shores are mainly rocky, with a couple of very small natural sand beaches between them. In summer, you can swim from many spots along the shore, and the rocks are popular picnic areas. There are no services at the site. The Keinänlahti peninsula can be accessed on foot from nearby residential areas. The path crosses a ditch via a poorly maintained, self-made bridge. The nearest bus stop is a couple of hundred metres away.
