Kuuden Tähden Reitistö / Kuortane

The cycling, hiking and skiing routes of the Six-Star trail network are located in South Ostrobothnia in the area known as Kuusiokunnat, i.e. in the areas of Alavus, Kuortane, Soini, Ähtäri and Alajärvi, as well as on connecting routes between the municipalities. The area has routes for both leisurely outdoor activities and more challenging adventures. Cycle through rural landscapes, hike on routes suitable for the whole family, or ski in varied terrains. Accessible routes bring the joy of moving in nature within everyone's reach. The Six-Star trail network has been developed since 2020 with project funding granted by Leader Kuudestaan ry. The routes will continue to be supplemented with new destinations, and their information will be updated on the trail network's website. Kuortaneen Latu ry is responsible for the basic renovation and maintenance of the Kuortane section, which will be carried out during 2023.
