Lintunevan pitkospuut

Lintuneva is a picturesque nature reserve with a 750-metre-long duckboard trail maintained by a private entity. The trail winds along the edges of the Lintuneva bog ponds, offering visitors a taste of wilderness. Lintuneva is located in the Jurva area, approximately 30 kilometres from the centre of Kurikka. At the starting point, there is a small parking area from which you can immediately access the duckboards. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Lintuneva lean-to shelter, where it is advisable to bring your own firewood. On the edge of the largest bog pond, there is a small jetty, benches, and a table for eating snacks. Additionally, a bird watching hide can be found on the shore of the largest bog pond. Except for the lean-to shelter, the entire trail runs on duckboards across the bog, which is filled with bog ponds, within the nature reserve.
