Varsasaari is a recreational island owned by the Helsinki Urban Environment Division, located in the eastern archipelago of Espoo. Varsasaari is situated in Espoo's Westend, approximately 250 metres from the mainland. The island is a public recreational area, open to all hikers and boaters in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Those with their own boats can moor at the shared main pier (bow-first mooring along the sides of the pier). There is a daily overnight fee for boaters and campers.
