In Komio Nature Reserve, visitors can wander along glacial traces and explore the special features of Häme's esker nature. The diverse nature and varied terrain offer excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation and nature observation. The area is suitable for a day trip, either walking or skiing. A walking trip can be extended to a weekend by visiting the marked Poronpolku outdoor trails, which also wind through the surrounding area and are part of the over 250 km long Hämeen Ilvesreitti. The area features outdoor trails, a campfire site, and a dry toilet. The accessible samo-trail serves people with reduced mobility and those with prams.
