Playground Mäkitorppa is located centrally in the Oulunkylä district with good transport connections. The yard is fenced. The playground is accessible. The playground is a place where families with babies and children can play, exercise and meet each other around the year either indoors or outdoors. In addition to sandboxes, swings and various climbing frames, playground features: - Separate fenced yard for small children - Playing field with football goals on a sand bed - Ice rink (in winter) - Paddling pool (in summer) - Floorball goals and equipment - Waterplay area with showers, pumps etc. (in summer) - Baby changing table - Sledging hills - Cycling track Families with babies and children can meet other families at playgrounds, while children can find new friends to play with. Diverse and free-of-charge guided activities are organised at playgrounds in the mornings. You can heat your own food and makecoffee and tea at the playground. Our activities are free of charge and based on Helsinki's curriculum for early childhood education and care.
