Mummusali

There is also a direct, signposted route to Mummusali viewpoint cliff from the car park. The route is 1 km long and marked with pink. From the rest stop, there is a view towards the Palojoki valley in the direction of the evening sun. The route is moderately challenging; after the initial road section, the forest path is narrow and at times stony and root-covered. There are small differences in elevation along the way, but no steep ascents or descents. From the viewpoint, you can descend a steep hill and stairs to admire Palokoski rapids flowing at its base.
