Poronpolku

The 27 km long Poronpolku (Reindeer Trail) is divided into four shorter routes, which can be combined to form day trips of varying lengths. PLEASE NOTE that crossing the waterway is ONLY possible on the event day, i.e., the last Sunday of September. Otherwise, the route must be planned without crossing the waterway. The southernmost section of the route runs through the Komio nature reserve, which is one of the most impressive parts of the route due to its diverse ridge nature. Outside the Komio area, the route runs partly on gravel roads in addition to paths. Poronpolku is part of the Hämeen Ilvesreitti (Lynx Trail of Häme)
