Seitsemän veljeksen vaellusreitti

The route starts in Helsinki in front of the National Theatre at the Aleksis Kivi statue. The Hyvinkää section is best started from the Nurmijärvi side, at Herustentie 248, 01900 Nurmijärvi. The route in the Hyvinkää area traverses diverse terrain on the Salpausselkä ridge, in the rural landscapes of Kytäjä, and the rugged rocky areas of Usmi. There are lean-to and campfire sites in Herusi and Kaksoislammet. The latter also has an outdoor toilet. The route crosses the magnificent Petkelsuo nature reserve. Route suitability and difficulty: Classified as demanding. Suitable for day and weekend hikes and trekking for experienced hikers accustomed to walking in rough terrain.
