The Kiimajoki route is Teisko's secret gem. The Kiimajoki canoeing route, implemented at the turn of the millennium, is located in Northern Tampere in the landscapes of Velaatta and Terälahti. The historic log floating route follows the Kiimajoki downstream from Lake Velaattajärvi and finally ends in Näsijärvi's Terälahti.<br>The area features approximately 17 km of guided canoeing routes and three fireplace sites, one of which includes a uniquely naturally designed lean-to complex with woodsheds and dry toilets.
