The lean-to is located on the west shore of the island near the landing site. Boats can be moored to the rock on the north shore of the bay. Landing can be difficult in westerly and northerly winds. The island's facilities also include a barbecue shelter, a dry toilet, and seasonal waste management (Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association). The island is mainly a rocky area. The entire island belongs to the Kokkola Archipelago Natura 2000 area. Movement on the northern rocks of the island should be avoided during the bird nesting season from 15.4. to 31.7.
